The Role

• We are looking for a seasoned ERP technology leader to oversee all technical domains of our global SAP ERP services - including system operations, version management, security & access management, architecture, and integrations - while actively driving team performance and talent development.

Key Responsibilities
Application Delivery

• Define and maintain a mid-term ERP technology roadmap aligned with business strategy
• Lead requirements definition, system selection, and architecture/integration design in collaboration with enterprise architects
• Oversee end-to-end application development, testing, deployment, and release management
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, GxP, SOX, and GDPR requirements

Service Management

• Design and operate application-specific service management aligned with the global DX service model
• Manage SLAs, incident response, change management, and performance monitoring
• Drive continuous service quality improvement and customer satisfaction
• Oversee service cost and resource management

Vendor Management

• Manage vendor relationships and performance in alignment with global procurement policies
• Monitor vendor SLA compliance and support sourcing of required application services
• Disaster Recovery & IT-BCP
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans following industry best practices

People Management

• Performance management and career development for direct reports
• Drive employee engagement and retention
• (This role starts as an individual contributor with the expectation of transitioning into a formal people manager for Japan-based ERP team members.)

Your Skills

• Fluent level of Japanese will be needed
• Bachelor's degree or above
• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise platform operations and/or implementation - SAP experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of ERP solution portfolios and roadmaps
• Solid understanding of IT security, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance (GxP, SOX, GDPR)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities
• Results-oriented with a strong customer and service mindset
