We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting for the Japan entity, working closely with regional and global finance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports in accordance with local and group standards
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with Japanese GAAP and corporate tax requirements
- Partner with global HQ on reporting, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives
- Lead and develop a small accounting team

スキル・資格
Required Skills
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Solid understanding of Japanese GAAP and tax regulations
- Business-level Japanese and English
- Experience working in a multinational or foreign-affiliated company
Nice to Have
- Experience in luxury, fashion, retail, or consumer goods industries
- CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Background in audit or Big Four accounting firms
