What you will be doing

Based on the Supervisor's direction, this job involves reducing risks by establishing/operating an optimal logistics system, mainly for logistics operations related to finish goods, and working with related departments to propose and implement the establishment of a system for managing optimal inventory levels.

• Order quantity planning based on optimal inventory level, ordering operations (issue PO etc)
• General transportation of products produced at overseas plant.
  • Delivery date coordination with overseas production plants
  • Arrangements for transportation of raw materials (Substrates and PGM) arranged by USJP.
  • Import practices for overseas manufactured finish goods
  • Supply chain management and optimization of raw materials and finished products
  • Export plans and practices for raw materials for overseas production
  • Obtaining quotations and cost management for import/export logistics
  • Contact window for logistics companies (forwarders, etc.)
• Optimization of domestic logistics and warehousing (general outsourcing including cost management and contract management)
• Data input related with logistics (SAP, etc.)
• Ensure logistics planning and optimization for finish goods
• Practices related to obtaining specific certificate of origin
• Collecting legal regulations and tax information regarding transportation and reflecting it in internal systems
• Building a system that meets the requirements of quality and EHS such as ISO and IATF

Who we are looking for

Functional requirements (Education, years of experience in different areas, technical skills, …)

・ More than 3 years of work experience in a company

・ Ability to communicate in English (daily conversation level: email/chat communication, simple conversation)

・ Better: Experience in trade

・ Better: Experience to use SAP system

・ Better: Knowledge and experience of planning and supply chain management

Personal skills (Behavioural competencies)

・ Able to understand the system systematically and think strategically

・ Able to proactively create various materials and be well prepared

・ Able to cooperate and build teamwork with internal and external parties to execute work smoothly
