Professional, Product Support & Services ISG : Job Level - Associate

Team Profile:
The Japan Securities Lending Operations team is responsible for post-trade transaction processing of Equity securities lending, working closely with our Institutional Equities business partners who facilitate client and firm short selling strategies globally. The team is a part of the global organization, with footprint in locations including US, UK, India, and Hong Kong. Locally within Japan the team footprint will be across Tokyo and Osaka locations.

What you'll do in the role:

- Play a key role in the team's day-to-day functions by performing:
Trade capturing, matching, confirmations, and settlement facilitation for products supported by team; Client servicing including day-to-day communication, report/statement generation; Regulatory reporting.
- Engage in global and local projects and initiatives to enable new product offering, accommodate market and regulatory changes or to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with diverse internal teams including the business and technology to face external clients and local market in our service delivery

What you'll bring to the role:

- Ability to work under time-pressure and multi-task
- Analysis skills to identify process improvement opportunities and potential risks
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Business level Japanese and English skill in verbal and written communications
- 2 years of professional experience in the financial industry
