Pre-Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Prioritise face to face time with clients and prospective clients, appreciating that some relationships are better built in person.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring they have a favourable view of measured by high CSAT/NPS scores.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Develop trusted advisor & business partner elationships with Salesforce, plus other key partners that support our solutions and work with them to help produce the right solution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Salesforce, ensuring alignment and partnership
  • Create technical proposals and presentations for customers at a high level.
  • While an engineer will not create detailed architectures (for example) they will make high level architectures, data flow analysis and similar proposals.
  • Help to progress and win quality new business and revenue through partnership   with the DC and sales teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal staff, in particular your peers in the business unit and the management of local Delivery Centres.
  • Support the growth of the sales funnel by proactively identifying and developing new opportunities within existing accounts and opportunities.
  • Use your commercial knowledge and experience to develop high quality, low risk, commercial outcomes for OSF.
  • Support in the negotiation of contracts and closing of agreements.
  • Support in RFP / RFI response creation
  • Follow processes relating to proposals and approvals.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Stay abreast Salesforce ecosystem, maintaining a sound understanding of products, certifications and technologies to remain on the forefront of the industry.
  • Assist with the achievement of revenue and margin targets across the sales team.
  • Requirements for learning and sales certifications (completed regularly).
  • Execute on other responsibilities in line with business objectives as required or as directed by your manager.
  • Critically understand clients' operations, processes, and systems.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a great environment for other consultants and respective team members to work 

Job Qualification:

  • A business analysis background is preferred due to the need to understand the business requirements first to craft the right solution.
  • The ability to work with many teams, virtually, across multiple time zones.
  • Self-managing and a proactive approach to business development is essential.
  • Very strong Japanese and English communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation skills both in person and virtually to diverse large and small   teams, from highly technical people through to senior executives.
  • Strong consulting and client engagement skills.
  • Demonstrable experience working across a portfolio of diverse accounts.
  • Background in CRM, Ecommerce or digital marketing and/or knowledge of the  
  • Salesforce Core, Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and/or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a significant asset and highly desired.
  • Strong technical knowledge of relevant IT technologies and processes such as
  • Marketing Automation, CRM, ERP, Integration, Ecommerce tools etc.
  • An ability to deal with ambiguity and adopt a flexible approach.
  • Experience working in or with professional services and/or managed services   Businesses.
  • Maintains a strong network of positive contacts both inside Salesforce (ideal) or in the general market.
  • Must have ability to travel to client sites.
  • Experience working in a partner/vendor relationship model. In particular, experience working with large global IT vendors.
  • Demonstrated commitment to service excellence.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively and leads through trust and professional respect.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, strong decision making, judgment and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added,   insightful and strategic insight into their business.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • An active listener who can take on and respond to feedback.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills.
  • Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
  • Ability to act decisively and independently when required.

Language proficiency : Native Level Japanese (JLPT N) and Business Level english.
